"Social system design" refers to creating an image of society in the future as you think it should be.
This means the ability to think independently about how the world should be and then to create a framework or design.
In the Department of Social System Design, we cultivate students to gain an understanding of various mechanisms in society, independently discover issues and find solutions, and then create new value in order to change society for the better.
